Kristina Schnepf will lead communications at Goodyear's North America business unit.
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has hired Kristina Schnepf as vice president of communication for its North America business unit.
She will report directly to Steve McClellan, president, North America, and functionally to Paul Fitzhenry, Goodyear’s senior vice president global communications and chief communications officer.
Schnepf, 45, joined Goodyear from Dow Chemical Co. in Midland, Mich., where she has spent 22 years in positions of increasing responsibility in branding, marketing communications, media relations, internal communications, crisis management and community relations.
“As we grow our position in the North American tire market, strong communication with all of our stakeholders becomes increasingly important, says McClellan. “We look forward to Kristina’s leadership to further strengthen the value of communication in the execution of our strategy.”
Schnepf is a 1991 graduate of Michigan State University.
