Growing Demand for Timber in The Mines Means a Northern NSW Mill Has Nearly Doubled

While some timber mills are closing because workers have gone off to the mines, others are benefiting from the resources boom. Growing demand for timber in the mines means a northern NSW mill has nearly doubled in size in less than five years. Owner of Hayden Timbers, Daryl Hayden, says there's a big future in the timber industry if it expands with the right timber varieties.
