German carmaker Opel has unveiled the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) powered version, Zafira Tourer MPV, expanding its portfolio of Zafira Tourer line of vehicles.
The new MPV is powered by a 1.4 LPG ecoFLEX turbo engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission to drive the front wheels which will generate an output of 140 hp and 200Nm of torque.
Zafira's suspension features MacPherson struts in the front and a rear torsion beam with additional Watt linkage which is expected to enhance the driving performance.
Features of the new Tourer MPV include lane departure warning (LDW), side blind spot alert and advanced park assist, in addition to an electric parking brake incorporated with hill start assist comes as standard.
Opel claims that the new MPV offers a maximum range of nearly 650km with a single tank of fuel, while offers up to 1,500km if gasoline tank is used as well.
Being assembled at the Opel Special Vehicles (OSV, the Zafira Tourer LPG will go on sale in Germany at a base price of EUR27,050.
