The board game specialist picked up the coveted award at this year's Reading Retail Awards.
Specialist board game retailer Eclectic Games has been awarded the title Retailer of the Year 2014 at the annual Reading Retail Awards.
Held on Saturday, September 13th, the event was aimed at celebrating outstanding retail in the borough.
Eclectic Games was nominated in three categories, making the shortlist for the customer-nominated category: Shop I Can’t Live Without for the second year running, as well as Independent Retailer of the Year.
The retailer was selected by an independent panel of judges, including Reading’s business improvement district manager, Bobby Lonergan, who noted the quality of customer response to the store.
"The sheer quality of the customer testimonials in the nominations we received for Eclectic Games in the Shop I Can’t Live Without category were a deciding factor in our choice to award them Retailer of the Year 2014.”
Owners of Ecelctic Games, Becky and Darell Ottery are delighted with the result.
