South Korean automaker Kia Motors has started the production of its new Cee'd sports-wagon at its Zilina plant in Slovakia.
According to the carmaker, the new sports-wagon is the estate version of the second-generation Cee'd hatchback which was earlier unveiled at 2012 Geneva auto show.
In 2012, Kia is planning to manufacture about 285,000 vehicles at the Zilina facility, which has produced nearly 167,000 vehicles and 266,000 engines during the initial seven months of this year.
The South Korean carmaker is also planning to build the new three-door pro_cee'd at the Zilina manufacturing facility, with the production expected to start in 2013.
The new Cee'd Sportswagon will be on sale in the UK in September 2012.
