Craft brewery in the US, Sprecher Brewing is set to launch its Special Amber and Root Beer in new 12oz metal cans supplied by Crown Holdings’ business unit CROWN Beverage Packaging North America.
The metal cans were manufactured in Crown's LaCrosse, Wisconsin facility and the collaboration between both the companies provided Sprecher with the opportunity to support the local economy and reduce its environmental footprint by sourcing cans from nearby.
The company's Special Amber was packed in the decorative can and the original graphics and logo were clearly represented on the metal.
According to Crown, the 100% recyclable beverage cans block light and oxygen, helping lock in the flavor of Sprecher's beers and preventing product spoilage.
Sprecher also leveraged the new packaging format to celebrate the 25th anniversary of state tourism company Discover Wisconsin, presenting a new design that included the organization's logo.
At present, Sprecher brands are sold in 27 states nationwide.
