Ironshore Introduced a New Product, SecurEvent, Intended to Bridge The Potential Gap

Ironshore International has introduced a new product, SecurEvent, intended to bridge the potential gap in insurance coverage in the aftermath of a terrorist attack while responding to the heightened risk exposure associated with high-profile events.

The SecurEvent single broad form policy provides a suite of coverage protection which includes broad form contingency, general liability, accidental death & dismemberment insurance.

Pre and post-event crisis management coverage through Ironshore's CrisisThreeSixty policy enhancement is also provided by the new product for its customers.

Underwritten through Ironshore's Lloyd's Pembroke Syndicate 4000, the SecurEvent policy can also be customized to meet the requirements of specific sponsor organizational risk for single day events, as well as extended time events.

Ironshore International chief executive officer Mark Wheeler said, "Ironshore and Pembroke are recognized specialists in war and terrorism insurance and other political violence exposures, and we are poised to address these risks by providing this innovative, event-specific coverage solution throughout our global platform."
