Indian carmaker Maruti is planning to unveil a new fuel efficient 800-cc car during late 2012.
According to the carmaker, the new model expected to be technically advanced than its earlier two 800CC variants as well as more expensive than Alto.
Press Trust of India quoted a source saying that although this will be a 800cc car, technologically it will be more advanced than the existing two 800cc models.
"It'll be more fuel efficient, and hence will also be more expensive than M800 and Alto," source added.
The company has already begun the trials of the car and the commercial production is expected to begin in July or August 2012 at its manufacturing facility in Gurgaon.
