Now that the holiday period has begun in a number of northern and eastern German states, business activity has also continued to decrease on the regional sales markets for flat wooden pallets in the last three to four weeks. Manufacturers are working from the assumption that the holiday period beginning in the western and southern regions of Germany in August is going to become noticeable on the sales markets there as well then in the form of decreasing demand. Parallel to this, however, pallet output will develop downhill as well.
