Hyundai Hysco, one of the major re-rollers in Korea produced 2.155 million tons of cold rolled coils (CRC) in the first half of this year, rising by 3% year on year.
It’s learned that some of the CRC production was contributed by its new pickling line and tandem cold rolling mill (PLTCM), which is commissioned at its Dangjin works in May.
The PLTCM owns a capacity of 1.5 million tons per year and Hyundai Hysoc expected to commission its full capacity in the fourth quarter of this year.
