San Shing Fastech's Sales Revenue in Whole 2012 Falls by 18.4% From a Year Ago

San Shing Fastech, one of the major fastener manufacturers in Taiwan, announced its sales revenue in whole 2012 totaled NT$5.048 billion, falling by 18.4% from a year ago. Its gross profit rate in whole 2012 was 14.69%, lower than 18.03% in 2011. In the fourth quarter of 2012, the company’s net profits after tax slumped by 52.4% from a quarter ago. The company stated that weak market demand in Europe was the major reason caused it sales go down in 2012. However, San Shing Fastech expected to have better sales this year as the market condition is recovering.
