INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, confirms that CAB 2014, the Converting and Bonding Conference, will be held May 6-8, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina USA.

Building upon the successful inaugural CAB 2012 event, CAB 2014 will highlight new technologies, raw materials and processes with a special focus on engineered fabric needs for the Automotive and Furnishings market segments.

The following topics will be presented at the two and a half day event:
- What’s new in machinery
- Recycling or repurposing scraps from the automotive manufacturing process
- Flame retardancy – the latest on government regulations and compliant finishes
- Innovations in fibers
- Lightweighting in transportation
- Nanocoating applications for flame retardancy
- Market research and statistics
- Networking and more

Also at CAB 2014 will be a condensed version of the popular INDA Elementary Nonwovens Training Course tailored to converting and bonding technologies. The Elementary Training session will kick off the CAB 2014 event Tuesday morning.

“CAB 2014 will be a truly unique event focused on market segment needs served largely by needlepunched fabrics and the various converting processes applied to them to meet those needs,” said Dave Rousse, INDA President.

“From the latest in nanotechnology to recycling or repurposing scrap material, CAB attendees will discover thought-provoking, leading edge information that will benefit their organizations. CAB 2014 is a must-attend event for professionals serving fabric needs in the Automotive and Furnishings market segments,” Rousse continued.

Attendees at CAB 2014 will have multiple business interactions in the form of the Speed Networking Luncheon (Tuesday) as well as the Table-top Displays/Receptions (Tuesday and Wednesday evenings). The Speed Networking Luncheon concept was designed to bring professionals together over lunch and give them the opportunity to meet more people in 2 hours than they would normally meet over the course of an event.
