Epp Plans to Purchase an Inline Machine System Gallus Ics 670

Dubai-based printing house Emirates Printing Press (EPP) plans to purchase an inline machine system Gallus ICS 670 from Gallus Stanz- und Druckmaschinen, in an effort to expand its activities in the packaging sector.

The Gallus ICS 670 which will be used to make folding carton products, consists of four gravure units, nine Easy Value Add (EVA) platforms, a rotary embossing unit and the Gallus FCL 670 flat-bed die-cutter.

HiDef flexo printing and screen printing modules will be used by EPP on the EVA platforms and other finishing methods including cold foiling, lamination, hot foil embossing or rotary hot foil embossing can also be integrated in the platforms as options.

EPP executive directors Mohamad Al Shirawi and Samuel Natarajan said the new configuration allows the company to cover most of its current portfolio.

"Thanks to its modular architecture, the machine can be expanded at any time in the future, so that we can respond to changing market needs without any problems." Mohamad Al Shirawi and Samuel Natarajan said.
