KineMatik has formed a strategic alliance to embed Scilligence's new cross-platform, mobile cheminformatics, and bioinformatics software tools into its electronic laboratory notebook (ELN)
Scilligence's informatics products usage will enhance knowledge sharing and productivity of researchers in the discovery and development of small molecule and biologics therapeutics.
In addition, Scilligence's proprietary technology specialized in chemical structure searching and data mining across a variety of data sources and file types, allows customers to access information previously bound in technology silos, or by unstructured data archiving methods.
KineMatik sales vice president Michael Price said the collaboration with Scilligence will allow the company's customers to receive the best-in-class capabilities for both ELN technology and chemical/biological search capabilities in a single ELN solution available from a single source.
"KineMatik realizes that seamless integration is key to ELN usability, as attested by our already existing transparent LinkLab integration with LIMS, CDS, discrete analytical & test instrumentation and embedded integration with SAP," Price added.
Scilligence vice president of sales and marketing Chris Ruggles said partnering with KineMatik makes the latest in scientific informatics available to many more scientists.
"Incorporating TouchMol technology into the eNovator suite is a natural fit," Ruggles added.
