German luxury automaker Porsche is planning to unveil the Macan SUV next year.
The company said that the new model will be a four door version while a two-door version is also expected to be launched.
It will be offered with two powertrain options which include a 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine and a 3.0 litre V-6 engine generating about 240hp and 290hp respectively.
In addition the new SUV is also expected to be launch in Turbo S version which will be powered by a 3.0 litre twin-turbo V-6 engine generating 350hp.
Porsche is also planning to unveil the Macan Hybrid powered by a four-cylinder engine generating 230hp and complemented by a 50-hp electric engine
The new SUV will go on sale in 2013 at a starting price of $45,000.
