Reporteldy, Nikarom announced its Campia Turzii mill in Romania will resume producing. Also, this is the third mill that Nikarom announced to restart.
Campia Turzii mill is processes wire rod from its sister mill Ductil Steel Buzau.
As to the EAF-based Otelu Rosu and bulb flats producer Laminorul Braila, remain idle.
Meanwhile, Otelu Rosu has no activity because in this very moment production is not profitable,Nikarom said.
The official of the company even said that inventories of materials and scrap are sufficient to run under optimum conditions in the period ahead.
