Fuji Electric has collaborated with Coulomb Technologies to incorporate Coulomb's Charge Point Network into its DC Quick Charging Stations.
The collaboration will further facilitate Fuji Electric to deploy its 25kW chargers into ChargePoint Network,which can fully charge the electric vehicles in an hour.
ChargePoint's mobile phone applications will include Fuji Electric stations apps which will allow drivers to locate stations,and then make,view and cancel a reservation time slot directly through the smart phone.
The application will also allow drivers to use ChargePoint Network's station reservation feature and also to access features comprising the ability to:assist in trip planning,charging cost management,and find and operate public ChargePoint-enabled stations.
Fuji Electric said that its charging stations are expected to be unveiled in the US later this year.
