According to report, JSW Steel’s July crude steel production was 991,000 tons, rising 47% from the same period last year.
Production for flat rolled products rose 64% year-on-year to 796,000 tons and long products production rose 31% to 186,000 tons.
JSW is planning to raise the price for all flat products and some long products on continuous depreciation of rupee against the dollar as well as the global flat steel price rise. The price rise may be effective this week.
