The Yield of Ukrainian Crude Steel May Have a Decrease in September From July Level

According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in September this year Ukraine's crude steel production is expected to decrease by 5.1 percent compared to July to 2.670 million mt.

According to Metallurgprom's forecast, in September pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.490 million mt, up 0.7 percent compared to the July results, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total 2.4 million mt, down 2.3 percent compared to July.

In August, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.760 million mt of crude steel, 2.530 million mt of pig iron and 2.470 million mt of rolled steel.
