April 12, 2013 - UL is notifying to authorities having jurisdiction, distributors, installers and users that the photovoltaic panels identified below bear counterfeit UL Marks for Canada and the United States.
The product is ASP (Advanced Solar Photonics, a.k.a. Bluechip Energy) Models AP-240PK, AP-245MK and ASP-390M. (ASP is a tradename for the parent company Bluechip Energy LLC).
The panels are known to be sold by SunWorks Solar, but may be sold by other distributors.
