Since establishment, the Taiwanese leading LED manufacturer - Edison Opto has participated in many international exhibitions actively. In November, Edison Opto will take part in the largest lighting event in Eastern Europe─INTERLIGHT MOSCOW 2012 (from 06 Nov. to 09 Nov.), and the top event of global electronics industry─Electronica 2012 (from 13 Nov. to 16 Nov.). To answer these high profile lighting events, Edison Opto will exhibit the newest PLCC and COB series products to reflect the market trends and demonstrate their remarkable R&D achievements. By that time, Edison Opto is expected to attract the attention of customers and the industry.
Recently, Edison Opto has launched the high lm/$, high CRI and high light extraction efficiency product-ET-3535 Series. Featuring excellent luminous efficacy, the ET-3535 Series can reach 100lm@350mA in Warm White and provide CRI 80 in every color temperature. Unlike traditional PLCC Series, ET-3535 Series upgrades the light extraction efficiency with the dome lens. The great performance products can be used as the light source of PAR series, LED bulb, down light and general luminaire.
In addition, Edison Opto has also successfully introduced the EdiPower II HS Series which is a high brightness COB component product. Under 24 Watt (1500mA), EdiPower II HS Series can reach 2800lm. It provides a better solution for high wattage products. Due to the innovative technology, the high performance EdiPower II HS Series products can be applied in many fields such as LEDs Light bulb, down lights and candle lights.
Besides, since joined Zhaga consortium, Edison Opto has introduced the EdiLex Linear Series Module which is referred to the specifications of Zhaga. The module is available in five different dimensions, and three of them are referred to the specifications of Zhaga. Moreover, for each dimension, there are two emitter types (PLCC 3014 and PLCC 5630) for customers to choose. Because the EdiLex Linear Series Module features slim design and light weight, it is easy to assemble and widely used in office lighting, stairway accent lighting, cabinet lighting and general lighting.
In early 2012, the photometric testing laboratory of Edison Opto became the first LM 80 corporate testing laboratory to be certified by UL, and in September of the same year, the photometric testing laboratory was certified by UL as a product safety testing laboratory. The certifications in product safety and performance will enable Edison Opto to reduce the time spent on R&D and dive into the international market. Additionally, Edison Opto will be able to expand services globally to the various fields of lighting applications. Edison Opto has the advantage of rapid validation of the company's internal testing laboratory, which allows Edison Opto to maintain its leading position in the global lighting market.
