Posco Increases The Prices for CRC for China During January-February for 2013

It’s reported that  Posco has announced to increase the prices for cold rolled coils (CRC) for China by US$10~US$20/ton during January-February for 2013. 

Currently, the Chinese steel market is expected to pick up and it has been seen that the demand would continue improving till February and March this year. 
 
However, Posco indicated the price for CRC seems to move forward only in China but others. 
 
In fact, most of CRC buyers have a difficult time to settle the order with higher price level and a lack of demand from end-user sectors include automotive remains flat.
 
The price may sustain once demand is improved further in the first quarter.
