Multivac is all set to unveil its new compact packaging models developed specifically for the requirements of the medical products industry, at MEDTEC, which takes place in Stuttgart from 26 to 28 February 2013.
The new T 260 traysealer, used for the packing of delicate medical products in small and medium volumes, can process a range of packaging materials. It is semi-automatic and enables the packaging procedure to be programmed seamlessly.
According to the company, the R 145 thermoforming packaging machine developed for the pharmaceutical and medical industries can be extended flexibly and can be adapted to the requirements of different product manufacturers.
The system is flexible when it comes to the use of different packaging materials, both flexible and rigid materials, as well as aluminum laminates, can be run on the machine.
Special chamber machine, the C 400 TC is used for packing sterile medical products in pouches. It has sealing bars, which can be heated and temperature controlled permanently, allowing for qualification and validation of the sealing process.
All the machines have equipment packages with the Multivac Clean Design.
