This is the first FESPA exhibition to take place in the Eurasia region. The show will cover 15,000m2 and is aiming to attract around 8,000 visitors from Turkey and the surrounding countries. Since FESPA 2013, London in June, a further 10% of the floor plan has been sold, resulting in 80% already allocated two months before the show opens.
The latest exhibitors to sign up to the inaugural show include Alniz, Anka Serigrafi, Arioli, Caldera, Folpa, MS Italy, Pimms and Xerox.
Selcuk Aygüler, General Manager, Pimms comments: “We exhibit at FESPA shows worldwide as it is a brand we trust to create first-class exhibitions. We look forward to welcoming visitors and customers to FESPA Eurasia 2013 which we believe will positively contribute to the Turkish market.”
Turkey and its surrounding economies are growth markets for the print industry and over recent years FESPA shows have seen an increased amount of interest from this area. Turkey has consistently appeared among the top 15 countries attending both FESPA 2013 and FESPA Digital 2012.
FESPA has also committed €475,000 to invest in this region to support the growth of its community in Turkey and the surrounding countries. The investment is being focused towards building key industry contacts, knowledge, networks and market intelligence that can be shared with the regional community of printers through FESPA’s Profit for Purpose scheme.
Halil Eligur, President of ARED – FESPA’s association and exhibition partner comments: “We’ve had an overwhelming amount of interest from companies choosing to exhibit at FESPA Eurasia and due to this demand we increased the exhibition size back in February. The level of attention the launch event has received shows the appetite for a FESPA event that is more accessible to the region.”
FESPA’s Managing Director, Neil Felton, comments: “Since FESPA 2013 in London, space for the Eurasia show has been selling fast with 20 newly confirmed exhibitors covering in excess of 1000m2. Like all FESPA shows, FESPA Eurasia will not only benefit from the high calibre a FESPA event offers, but also from an educational programme consistent with FESPA’s philosophy.”
