Eleanor de Bruin has stepped into the editor’s role on the consumer-focused toy news website ToyTalk.
De Bruin takes on the role of editor following three years as a writer on the site.
“I'm really delighted to be the new editor of ToyTalk and appreciate the warm welcome everyone has given me in my new role,” said de Bruin. “Judging by ToyFair 2013 it's going to be a great year for the toy industry, and hopefully for ToyTalk as well.”
David Smith, who set up the site and edited it for seven years, will now be concentrating on developing the ToyTalk brand, especially through the ToyTalk Awards.
“I have no doubts that Eleanor will excel in her new role,” Smith commented. “She has shown a tremendous aptitude for the job over the past three years and I am confident that ToyTalk is in very good hands.”
