The 2013 Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo Opened

The 2013 Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo opened Tuesday, July 24 in Panama City, Panama. The show is occupying both floors of the Panama City convention center.

CEO of the event, Gustavo Lima said the Expo has more than 220 exhibitors from 80 countries. He is expecting more than 4,000 visitors durinng the four-day event.

Early conversations among attendees is that:

* the show has grown significantly from last year, and

* the business environment is brisk.

The United States is well-represented at the show, with just under 50 of the exhibitors listing their companies as being from the U.S.
