ViryaNet Limited (OTC QB:VRYAF), a leading provider of software solutions that optimize and allow for the continuous improvement of service processes for mobile workforces, announced today that ViryaNet G4 has been selected by four natural gas utilities in the U.S. that serve more than 1 million customers.

These four natural gas utilities are subsidiaries of a leading energy company that delivers services to commercial, industrial, and residential customers.

As part of consolidating its various IT systems and ensuring commonality among these operations, this energy group selected ViryaNet G4 to centralize and integrate appointment booking with their customer information system (CIS). By simply clicking a button within the CIS, customer service representatives can view available appointment slots and book appointments directly in the CIS application which interfaces with ViryaNet G4.

For the consolidation, the outsourced mobile workforce management solution – currently used by two of the utilities – was reviewed. As a result of that detailed review process, the energy group will be insourcing and utilizing ViryaNet G4 to increase customer satisfaction and efficiency.

In future, it is expected that a single in-house system will be used for all six utilities within the group and ViryaNet G4 has the capabilities to accommodate these future business objectives.
