Sedona Recalls Products

Sedona Labs is voluntarily recalling certain lots of iFlora Kids Multi-Probiotic dietary supplement due to a possible Salmonella contamination, according to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recall was initiated after Corn Products, the supplier of Galactooligosaccharide (GOS) to Sedona Labs, recalled the ingredient over possible Salmonella contamination.

The products affected by the recall were distributed between 1 March 2011 and 3 May 2012.

Customers possessing these products have been asked to immediately discontinue their use. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the iFlora Kids Multi-Probiotic. No other Sedona Labs products are involved or impacted.

Customers can return iFlora Kids Multi-Probiotic to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Sedona Labs is a subsidiary of Nutri-Health Supplements, a wholly owned division of Atrium Innovations, which develops, manufactures, and commercializes dietary supplements.

Salmonella is an organism which can lead to serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
