The Deep Sub-Micron Embedded SRAM firm, sureCore, has won two significant awards at the prestigious Elektra 2013 European electronics industry awards.
The company won both the design team of the year category and the much-coveted company of the year trophy. Company of the year is the night's overall winner, selected from among the night's individual category winners by the judging panel. Technology innovation and business success is taken into account and the judges identified the company as the one that demonstrated outstanding achievements in 2013.
The judging panel included both journalists and industry experts, including:

Paul Wells, CEO of sureCore, stated, "This caps off a fantastic year for sureCore as we have successfully taped out a demonstrator chip, secured funding from both the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and private investors, as well as receiving invaluable on-going support and investment from Finance Yorkshire Seedcorn Fund. To have received the overall winner's trophy whilst we are still a young company is a great endorsement of our engineering team's strengths and is another piece of great feedback that the technology has a strong future."
