Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has signed decrees to invest in setting up new fabric production facilities, to be implemented by OAO Kamvol and OAO Sukno, reports Belarusian Telegraph Agency BelTA.
Decree no. 510 envisages establishment of a new facility to produce competitive range fabrics at OAO Kamvol. The project is expected to achieve its full capacity in 2017. By that time, sales proceeds per employee would reach €61,300.
The project aims to set up an export-oriented facility that will produce fabric that matches the standards of the best global manufacturers.
The other Decree no. 511is for setting up a project for annual production of 6.475 million metres of wool fabrics at OAO Sukno in 2013-17. It would increase sales proceeds per employee to €62,600 in 2018.
For the purpose, spinning, weaving and finishing workshops at OAO Sukno will be fitted with new equipment.
Both OAO Kamvol and OAO Sukno are state-owned textile enterprises in Belarus.
