TTF Has Said Taiwanese Textile Companies Are Expecting Orders Worth US$ 5 Million

Taiwanese textile companies that attended the just concluded ‘Sourcing at MAGIC’ trade show in Las Vegas earlier this week are expecting orders worth US$ 5 million, the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) has said.

The Taiwan pavilion at the trade show displayed readymade garments, hats, socks and other accessories to potential buyers from foreign countries, the TTF said.

Women’s woven garments maker Caribbean Industrial Co., high performance fabric supplier AGT International Co., and sports socks supplier Danken Enterprise Co. were among the 16 Taiwanese exporters that participated in the trade show, Focus Taiwan reported.

Knitting fabrics exporter Hi-Tec Industrial Co., apparel accessory suppliers Trim City Industrial Co. and Taiwan Right Enterprise Co., as well as socks manufacturer Paultex Industry Co. also showcased their products at the ‘Think Taiwan for Textiles’ pavilion at the sourcing trade fair.

The Taiwanese pavilion attracted several global brands, which held discussions with the Taiwanese companies, and are likely to place orders worth at least US$ 5 million for Taiwan-made items, the TTF said.

Taiwanese textile manufacturers are also participating in the two-day trade show currently going on in Los Angeles.

The world’s most extensive fashion sourcing event, 'Sourcing at MAGIC' is where brands, designers and sourcing executives gain access to global resources spanning the entire supply chain.
