Boxes Inc subsidiary Mid-America Display has purchased Diecut UK’s Redline 2200SF semi-automatic diecutter.
Suitable for all industries, the machine can be installed with a top feeding system, which allows the operator to feed the more tricky or thin substrates at large format manually.
The machine features heated bed for cutting or sealing plastics, and includes maximum diecutting capability of 2220mm x 17000mm with variable speed control and mechanical pressure settings.
It has the capacity to run at 2500 sheets per hour.
Last December, Mid-America Display purchased the Redline RL-2200, which features automatic feed and stripping section.
Redline RL-2200, which is similar to the largest Litho presses with 60” x 80”, includes the option to run the smaller format 28” x 40” labelled sheets
Mid-America Display vice president Jason Mueller said: “We run a wide array of work from short runs to large runs and with the quick set up times, fast production speeds, and the stripping section this has improved our efficiency numbers by 300% over our hand fed clamshell die cutters.
“As well we have reduced the amount of people from 6 to 5 people on our largest clamshell with hand stripping to 2 people while utilizing the stripping section.”
Boxes Inc produces printed corrugated and litho laminated products, in addition to industrial shipping and packaging products.
