The new Goulburn Valley Perfect Fruit snack, strawberry flavour
Food manufacturer SPC Ardmona has launched a new soft-serve frozen fruit snack under its Goulburn Valley brand.
SPC Ardmona said the Goulburn Valley Perfect Fruit snack is “made from 99 per cent fruit, which is fat free, dairy free, gluten free and contains no artificial ingredients”.
Using 100 per cent Australian grown fruit, Goulburn Valley Perfect Fruit is whipped with air and frozen to produce a texture similar to soft-serve ice cream. The product is now being trialled in select McDonald’s restaurants and 7-Eleven stores.
“We are anticipating an overwhelming response as it’s the latest healthy alternative to ice cream or frozen yoghurt,” said Bronwyn Powell, SPC Ardmona Marketing and Innovation Director. “Available in mango and strawberry, each serve has no more calories than you’d find in a regular apple, so it’s sure to be popular among those looking for a refreshing and tasty guilt-free treat,” she said.
