It’s reported that the Chinese steelmaker Liuzhou Steel released its financial result for the first half of this year.
In the first half of this year, Liuzhou Steel realized operating revenues of RMB18.154 billion, falling by 3.62% year on year.
Meanwhile, Liuzhou Steel posted a net loss for RMB8.896 million for the given period of time, slumping from a net profit of RMB1.79 million in the same period of a year ago.
Liuzhou Steel said that the net loss was caused by the higher costs and lower steel prices.
