Nippon Kinzoku, Japan-based stainless re-roller said that its second stainless coil center in Asia located in Malaysia started to run from July 1st.
The new coil center is scheduled to supply customers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and India.
Meanwhile, it’s known that the company’s first coil center is in central Thailand.
Nippon Kinzoku set the new plant in Malaysia is because the limited port capacity in Thailand is delaying exports to regional customers and natural disasters such as Thailand’s floods.
The two plants are using stainless CRC (mostly 300 series) from Nippon Kinzoku.
