Tridonic Launched a New Laser LED Module

Tridonic recently launched a new laser LED module. The new compact TALEXXengine STARK NEW DLE modules are 80 percent more efficient than their predecessors. A larger light emission surface also leads to a lower luminance and better glare reduction options for downlights.

The TALEXXengine STARK NEW DLE system, comprising an LED downlight module and associated converter (dimmable or non-dimmable) is more cost effective and, at 140 lm/W, much more exists than its predecessors. The "Best LED Operation" (BLO) mode strikes the perfect balance between efficiency, lifetime and cost.

Small colour tolerances (MacAdam 3) and CRI > 80 ensure high-quality white light which is available in colour temperatures of 3000 K and 4000 K. The larger light emission surface of the LED module with a diameter of 65 mm leads to lower luminance and makes it easier to reduce the glare from luminaires. The LED module is only 20 mm high, giving luminaire designers even greater freedom.
