According to data released from Toyota, its global production is 662600 vehicles in August 2013, down 4.4% year on year, has been negative for three consecutive months.
Japan's domestic production is 233514 vehicles, down 10.9% year on year, has for three consecutive months less than previous production. Because of the reduced production of North America, Asia and Africa, the Japanese foreign production is 429086 vehicles, own 0.5% year on year, more than two months again below the previous production.
Japan's domestic sales is 107872, down 12.6% year on year, has been negative for the fourth month in a row. Among them, the Lexus sales is 3431 vehicles, rose 5.1%. Light vehicle sales is 2947 vehicles, down 25.9% year on year. This month, Toyota's besides the light vehicle market share of 48.2%, down 3.0% year-on-year.
The exports is 138561 vehicles, down 0.3% year on year, has been for seven consecutive months less than exports during the same month last year. Especially the vehicles exports of Europe, Asia and Africa.
