According to data released by the Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA), Korea’s production of hot rolled coils (HRC) totaled 16.28 million tons in the first half of this year, falling by 3% year on year.
It’s said that the decrease in HRC output was caused by the sluggish demand from the local and overseas markets.
