Conveyor systems supplier Canline Systems has announced plans to open its first US packaging facility in Roanoke County, Virginia, in a bid to get closer to its customers.
At its new 10,500ft2 facility in Roanoke County, the company will design, manufacture and assemble the systems and will also serve other customers throughout the US.
According to the company, the facility is expected to become operational by 1 October.
Canline Companies owner/CEO Frans Augustijn said Canline is an international supplier to the packaging industry.
"We are focused on innovation in supporting production processes as packages become lighter and production speeds higher," Augustijn added.
Netherlands-based Canline creates conveyor systems that can move 2,400 cans per minute. The company has automated can production lines in Europe, Africa, Asia and the US.
