US-based manufacturer of folding cartons Everett Graphics has implemented EM7-25 On Demand Packaging from Packsize International.
According to Packsize, Everett reported a savings of 50% post installation of EM7-25.
Everett Graphics chief financial officer Mark Carlson the company has always right-sized its packaging, but has paid an exorbitant cost due to the large quantity of about 150 box sizes it would purchase to do so.
"Essentially the scraps of 20 to 30 boxes that remained would end up as leftover inventory. This is no longer the case since adopting the Packsize system," Carlson added.
Packsize International provides lean packaging systems for businesses with complex corrugated packaging needs and delivers an alternative to the existing corrugated supply chain with On Demand Packaging.
