Vivid Water has launched its flavored water brand Water in a Box in Tetra Pak cartons in the UK.
The cartons supplied by the Swedish packaging company Tetra Pak are said to be made from Forest Stewardship Council certified paperboard.
Made from low carbon raw materials, the packaging is also lightweight, 100% recyclable, and contains no PET.
Vivid Water owner John Lee said the paperboard used to make the cartons is recyclable and naturally renewable.
"Our plans are to roll out and to introduce the range to the wider trade market from January 2014," Lee added.
The drinks will be sold in 330ml cartons with a re-closable cap, in shelf ready packaging.
