China's Ministry of Commerce Decides to Impose Anti-Dumping and Tariffs for Two Years

China's Ministry of Commerce, based on its investigation of solar-grade polysilicon imported from member countries of the European Union, has decided to impose anti-dumping and anti-subsidization tariffs for two years.

China-based polysilicon makers Jiangsu Zhongneng Polysilicon Technology Development, LDK Solar, Luoyang Zhonggui High-Technology and DAQO New Energy jointly filed a request for an investigation, which the ministry started in November 2012.

The ministry indicated that it has accepted Germany-based Wacker's promise to export solar-grade polysilicon to China at or above a specified price for two years.
