From 28 to 30 September 2014 everything will be revolving around golf for the third time when visitors from the trade and professionals meet up at what is overall the 21st international GOLF EUROPE trade fair. Since 2012 the trade fair in Augsburg has enjoyed great popularity amongst golfers.
The 2,144 visitors from 29 countries demonstrated their satisfaction with what was on offer at the trade fair. 69% of them were chiefly interested in golfing equipment, followed by 43% of them being mainly interested in golfing accessories and 35% being interested in golf clothing. In the meantime GOLF EUROPE has become essential for the market leaders in the hardware section.
This is also confirmed by Andrew Law, vice president of the TaylorMade Golf Company, “We are very happy with the outcome of our participation in GOLF EUROPE 2013 and we will definitely be here this year to build up an even stronger foundation. For us it shows that GOLF EUROPE provides not only a perfect venue for the gathering of the European Golf business, but also and critically a successful order-platform. Our first time at the show has been very promising.”
The showcase for the European golfing industry is being expanded even more and as an interactive marketplace it offers plenty of room for hands-on public relations and actively exchanging information.
Live-broadcast of the final day of the Ryder Cup on Sky
When the winner of the Ryder Cup 2014 is declared in Gleneagles, Scotland on 28 September, the visitors of GOLF EUROPE will be able to experience the events live as they happen, because Sky will be transmitting the final day at the Augsburg Trade Fair.
It will be an ideal opportunity for exhibitors, customers and associates alike to join in the celebrations and to network – as Samuel Ryder put it so aptly as long ago as the first time the Ryder Cup was staged in 1927 when he said, "I believe that this competition promotes peace and friendship."
