According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in May this year Ukraine's exports of steel products decreased by 13.3 percent month on month to 1.893 million mt. In January-May, Ukraine exported 9.955 million mt of steel products, up 0.7 percent year on year.
In May this year, Ukraine registered a 9.5 percent decrease month on month in its steel product imports to 165,100 mt. In the January-May period, Ukrainian imports of steel products decreased by 8.5 percent year on year to 652,600 mt.
