US-based Dynamic Recycling has started work on its new distilled spirits plant set to come up in Bristol, Tennessee.
With this addition, the company will increase its capacity for environment-friendly, economical, safe destruction and recycling services for industries like beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics.
Dynamic Recycling aims to complete the construction of the new facility by 2015. It is expected that the expansion will create close to 30 jobs in Bristol.
Speaking about how more companies were working towards recycling in an economical manner, Dynamic Recycling president Ron Potter said: "This new plant will provide a safe and environmentally friendly service for our customers, while at the same time recycling an out of date site into an economic engine for the local community."
The company said that clients who generate ethanol based or sugary unusable or expired products will gain numerous benefits.
The company specializes in recycling products from the beverage and cosmetic services. The packaging materials are recycled and the liquids are used as a feedstock for production of renewable fuel ethanol. The process involves ethanol fermentation, distillation, dehydration and evaporation technologies.
Plant manager Larry Moore said: "Basically, we distill the alcohol and then the water. The ethanol goes for fuel use and the distilled water goes to the city sewer where it actually benefits them as well."
Based in Virginia, the company has a processing facility measuring 24,000 ft2 that has a capacity of 300 ton/day.
