BioteQ Has Secured a Three Year Contract for Water Treatment Services at Quebec Mine

Canada's BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc has secured a three year contract extension for water treatment services at the Glencore Raglan mine in Northern Quebec.

BioteQ designed and operates two nickel removal plants applying its proprietary technologies - a ChemSulphide plant owned by BioteQ and a Met-IX plant owned by Glencore - to treat mining effluent at the site. The Canadian company also provides operating services to Glencore for an adjacent lime treatment facility. BioteQ has been providing operating services at the Raglan site for the last 10 years.

Jonathan Wilkinson, BioteQ's CEO, said: "We are pleased to have reached an agreement with Glencore to extend the current operating agreement. We have had a very positive and productive relationship with the Raglan site over the past decade and we look forward to continuing with and building on this collaboration going forward."
