National Park Foundation Packaged The Official White House Easter Egg in a Gift Box

National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, has packaged the official White House Easter Egg in a gift box, which is made from the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Standard certified paperboard.

SFI is an independent organization and is responsible for maintaining, overseeing and improving the internationally recognized Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program.

Besides the SFI certified gift box, the souvenir Easter egg is made with wood certified to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Standard. This initiative demonstrates the importance of recognizing multiple forest certification standards as part of a comprehensive approach to supporting sustainable forestry.

SFI president and CEO Kathy Abusow said the company is pleased that the National Park Foundation is leading by example and sourcing certified products.

"This decision will inspire others in the public and private sector to support responsible forestry," Abusow said.
