The World Furniture Summit 2012, organised by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Company, and co-organised by the International Association of Furniture Publications (IAFP), will be held on September 11th in Shanghai Pudong Kerry Hotel.
As an international furniture industry event, the summit will attract more than 500 industry representatives from both domestic furniture manufacturers and the wider international furniture industry. The World Furniture Summit is a high-end summit that provides real and healthy information exchange across world furniture markets.
The delegates at home and abroad will be gathered at the summit and so far we have confirmed 19 speakers. The keynote speakers include Mr. Changling Zhu, the president of China National Furniture Association; Mr. Denis Heylen, the president of European Furniture Retailers Association; Mr. Todd Wanick, CEO of Ashley Furniture Group; Mr. Lim Cheok Sin, the chairman of Council of Asia Furniture Associations and Mr. Depei Wang , a famous Chinese economist. These five keynote speakers will share with us the information of macroeconomy and furniture industry development in the past years and forecast the future industry trend. Moreover, there will be 2 exciting round table discussions in the summit. One of the panels will be the senior media representatives from Mexico, Turkey, Russia, Romania, Brazil and Australia will convey the current development situation to us regarding their each emerging furniture market. The other panel includes the speakers from Germany, Japan, France, UK and US will have a roundtable discussion on the topic, "Development and opportunity of the furniture industry in the developed countries after the global financial crisis". Since designing is a hot topic in the furniture industry, the CEO from Spain's Association of Design Companies will share their unique designing concept and management with us. As we all know that CSIL enjoys a sound reputation of its professional industry report, their senior expert will present world furniture outlook with implications at the global markets level.
The 2012 World Furniture Summit won the great support of IAFP at this time.
