Global provider of temperature-assurance packaging Sonoco ThermoSafe has introduced the new Envoy Diagnostic insulated shipping solution.
The new shipper ensures temperature control for diagnostic kits, blood samples and other diagnostic specimens.
Featuring the two-day Envoy shipper combined with one of five available diagnostic kits, the Envoy Diagnostic product line provides the necessary components used in UN DOT, IATA and USPS certifications for specimens and infectious substances shipping.
When exposed to the real-world ISCsilver ambient profile, the entire Envoy Diagnostic series gives 2°C to 8°C temperature control.
Sonoco ThermoSafe market manager Marianne Hoonakker-Kelly said the company has combined the Envoy Shipper and its ThermoSafe Diagnostic Kits in order to better serve the diagnostic market.
"The pairing of these two products allows our customers to receive a complete solution to ensure the thermal integrity of the diagnostic specimens with the lowest total cost solution," Hoonakker-Kelly added.
