New Cans Are Created by Rexam Beverage for Accolade Wines' New Drinks

Rexam Beverage Can has created new cans for Australian winemaker Accolade Wines for the launch of its four new drinks from the Hardys, Banrock Station and Stone’s brands – ‘The Sparkling Collection’.

The 250ml slim cans are being produced at Rexam's Gelsenkirchen plant in Germany. Their convenience and portability makes it possible for consumers to enjoy the products for a variety of drinking occasions.

According to Rexam, the cans are targeted at existing wine drinkers as well as 25 to 35 year old females who are new to the wine market.

Accolade Wines European marketing director Clare Griffiths said the company hopes that its new and existing consumers will embrace the range as they have done with the company's top selling brands.

"We are passionate about innovation, and with the launch of these new cans from some of our most recognisable brands, we are spearheading the creation of a new category which will open wine up to new consumers, with new occasions," Griffiths added.

The new drinks range includes two Hardys Bellinis available in Strawberry and White Peach flavours and Banrock Infusions, a combination of wine and summer berries.
